You close yourself off from God’s entryway of blessings, provisions, and promises. When you fail to enter through Jesus’ open doors because of sin such as doubt, unbelief, or failing to walk in love-you are shutting the doors on yourself. Failure to judge sin and wrongdoing can eventually result in believers being turned over to the devil if they are not careful. One way you can forfeit your rights to what belongs to you in Christ is by wrong living and wrongdoing. Therefore, you can close the gateway to your healing. But when you do not go through an open door, you are shutting off access to that blessing. We recognize that Jesus is the One who opens and shuts doors. Now it is up to you to go through it.” In the same verse He added, “No man can shut that door on you!” I’ve already paid the price, and I’ve opened the door for you. He said, “Behold, I have set before thee an open door” (Rev. But they can’t go through that door for you.
Believers can come into agreement with you in prayer for your healing others can join their faith with yours. No one can enter the door of healing for you. But if you need healing, come to God and receive it because Jesus is still the Savior and the Healer.
One way to live in divine health is to walk closely with God every day and remain in close fellowship with Him in His Word. That means God not only wants you to be healed if you need it, but He also wants you to stay healthy. Not only is the gateway to divine healing now open, but Jesus has opened the door of divine health. Someone asked, “How do you enter through the door of healing?” You enter by faith in what God said in His Word! The same way you passed through the door of salvation by accepting Jesus as Savior, you pass through the door of healing by accepting Jesus as Healer. In other words, healing belongs to you now. Jesus opened it, but it’s up to you to enter in! It is waiting for you to make an entrance. Therefore, the door of healing and health is open wide to you. In the mind of God, you were already healed at the cross when humanity’s sins and sicknesses were laid on Jesus. This verse doesn’t say you are going to be healed-future tense. Peter said, “By whose stripes ye were healed” (1 Peter 2:24). When Peter made his statements concerning the covenant of healing, he was looking back in time to Jesus’ sacrifice on Calvary and to the stripes that were laid on His back. Isaiah prophesied about Jesus offering Himself as a sacrifice for our sins and bearing our sicknesses and diseases. (See Isaiah 53:4–5.) When the prophet spoke, he was looking into the future. Isaiah prophesied many years ago concerning the coming Messiah that He would bear the sicknesses and diseases of us all. He not only opened the door of salvation, but He also opened the door of healing for us and no man can shut it. Jesus has already opened doors of blessing for His people.
